A DofE Gold expedition was completed by 18 students in Wales a fortnight ago, involving challenging and spectacular routes and wild camping. Their assessors were hugely impressed. Standout students were Jack Bradley, Zach Jackson, Danny Marr, Luke Tinkler, Hayden Burrows, Alex MacSporran, Donnelly Nortey and Louis Shurmer. I should also commend Tait Anderson for soldiering through, despite an ankle injury.
