A select Skinners’ Leopards team defeated the current students 3-1 in an entertaining and competitive Fourball Better Ball Matchplay fixture at The Nevill Golf Club. Played in perfect golfing conditions, the match combined competitive golf with plenty of camaraderie and Skinners’ spirit.
The quality of the course and hospitality from The Nevill Golf Club were exceptional, and our thanks go to Paul Green and Craig Fleming for helping to make the day happen.
Following the success of this year's event, plans are already underway for an even bigger fixture in 2027. We’re keen to attract more alumni players and make this a permanent feature of the Old Skinners events programme. Whether you're playing regularly or haven't picked up a club for years, this is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet fellow alumni and represent Skinners once again.
Interested in playing in 2027? Keep an eye out for details and join us for what promises to be another memorable day on the course.
