The CCF set off on a Friday afternoon and began with a night navigation where they had to hit 5 Checkpoints across difficult terrain which they all achieved, with the last pair coming in just before midnight.

Saturday morning consisted urban clearance drills starting off with the basics and progressing it up to a full Platoon attack - (Op First Blood) where the mission was achieved. Saturday afternoon / evening the cadets got a task to locate the Enemy so they sent out an Observation Post looking over known Enemy locations and setting the conditions for a platoon attack which was a success. At this point they were all absolutely exhausted.

On Sunday morning, the cadets received a set of orders around a model pit in order to DESTROY the enemy on Lydden Bunkers to culminate all the training they had learnt over the last couple of days and the final mission was achieved.

Throughout the whole weekend every cadet on the exercise put 100% effort into everything they did, even when they were really tired, they just 'soldiered' on which was really impressive to see at their age, no complaining.  It was a steep learning curve as they have never done anything like that before.
