Skinners’ made the long journey to Coventry to compete in the most prestigious inter-schools running competition in the UK, improving on their performance from 2025.

Leading the A team off was Harvey Webster, with Jack Bradley not too far behind for the B Team. Taking over on Leg 2, Joel Graffin ran an excellent 12-44 as he gained twelve places. The move up through the field was continued on Leg 3 as Oscar Graffin (right) ran a superbly controlled 11-51, which was the fastest time on this leg. This moved Skinners’ up to 15th position. Ellis Hill on Leg 4 gained another place before Sam Smialowski gained four more places, with a 12-28 clocking, to move Skinners’ into the top 10. Harry Wrigley had the unenviable task of being chased down by some very quick athletes on Leg 6. However, he managed to hold off Harrow School’s late charge as Skinners’ gained a very pleasing 12th position from 59 teams. Ben Bailey clocked the fastest time, for the B team, a few seconds ahead of the times posted by Jack Bradley and Mika Pit, with the B Team finishing in 43rd position.
