Monday 13th July saw the inaugural Grandparents' Day at Skinners' School. Over 150 Grandparents attended the event, meeting in the School Hall for a brief welcome from The Headmaster, Ed Wesson, Deputy Headmaster Craig Flemming and Development Director Jules Sherwood.
The grandparents were then joined by their grandson(s) who then gave them a guided tour of the school. It was wonderful to see our students walking around the school showing their grandparents the classroom and facilities that they enjoy each day.
After the tour the boys brought their guests to the dining hall for delicious tea and cake and a welcomed sit down. The Headmaster then spoke and thanked all the grandparents for their unsung support of the boys and their parents.
If you missed the day, we will be holding another Grandparents Day (or two) in 2027 and we look forward to welcoming you back to the school again.
