Non-uniform Day: Christmas Fair Donations
Once again, the Skinners’ PA will be preparing festive hampers as part of the 2025 Christmas Fair fundraising effort. They make wonderful gifts for friends and family, and we sell out every year. We also use the valuable donations to stock our fantastic chocolate & bottle tombola stalls and gift table at the Fair.
Wednesday 19th November will be the first of two Non-uniform Days in exchange for HAMPER DONATIONS. Instead of cash donations, we are asking for donations of tempting treats that we can use to create our very special Christmas Hampers. Here are a few ideas to inspire you:
• Delicious eats! Attractively presented chocolates, good quality biscuits (sweet or savoury), special sweets, jams, chutneys, coffees, teas, oils, Christmas fare.
• It’s a gift! Candles, new Christmas decorations, room diffusers, candle holders, special toiletries (hand cream/bath bubbles/shower gel), attractive stationery.
• Cheers! A selection of good quality soft drinks and cordials or bottles of wine, fizz etc.
We are asking for donations from different year groups as follows:
• Years 7, 8 & 9: Edibles and Gifts (either, or both!)
• Years 10, 11, 12 & 13: Bottles and Gifts (either, or both!)
NB: We understand that students are too young to purchase or consume alcohol, and as always, we rely on your judgment and generosity. If donating alcohol isn't something you're comfortable with, there are many other ways to participate: we value every contribution!
Empty hampers taking up space at home? Enjoyed a hamper last year and willing to donate the basket? We’d love to have them back to recycle. Simply drop them at the school reception.
